During your first appointment we will briefly cover your medical history, and where relevant, assess your injury and range of movement but more importantly I will take the time to listen to your goals, expectation and the reasons that brought you to my treatment room in the first place.
Further to your initial assesment and treament we will try and make sense of the factors that have contributed to your condition and find ways you can self-manage your recovery and how I can support you along the way.

*Scope of Practice
I specialise in treating and relieving pain in soft tissue such as muscles, tendons and ligaments, and supporting your recovery from minor musculoskeletal injuries. If however, during our initial assessment I believe your injury or pain requires treatment which is beyond my scope of practice I will refer you to a healthcare practitioner such as a physiotherapist, chiropractor or your GP for specialist advice.
